A black and white analog night street photograph set in a large city, with a group of young people wearing 1980s-style clothing walking together down the street. The image looks like it was shot with a strong direct flash, creating harsh shadows, bright highlights on clothing, and visible film grain typical of analog street photography. Each face is completely covered by a square of electric-blue oil paint that has been painted on top of the photographic print after the photo was taken. The paint has thick texture, visible brush strokes, and slightly uneven edges. Because it is painted afterwards, the blue squares are perfectly flat in color, not affected by flash lighting, shadows, reflections, or perspective. The paint appears as a graphic intervention on the photograph surface rather than part of the photographed scene.High contrast black and white photograph, gritty analog aesthetic, urban atmosphere, artistic mixed-media effect combining photography and oil paint.
